Apparently (if this ain’t a hoax) Adolf Hitler used to draw Disney fanart. (Check link for the art) As I was telling a friend, if Hitler was alive today, he’d probably have written Mein Kampf as an emo LiveJournal rant.

You better believe it. Hitler wanted to go to Art school but was refused admission because he sucked.

He lived before photography and color printing became truly cheap. Therefore, despite being an ‘unschooled hack artist’ he was able to eke out a poor living doing “Picture Postcards”.
Let’s see, fought in WWI, got hit by mustard gas twice. Failed Artist. Homeless war vet. Came closer than anyone else in history to ‘conquering the world’ and making everyone else either be on his side or be lampshades…
And people compare Bush Jr. to Hitler. Aside from his family’s connection to Hitler (trading with the enemy act trouble) and his granddad’s involvement in the “Business Plot” attempt at treason, it’s insulting-to Hitler.
If Hitler had had Bush Jr’s opportunities and resources to start but still kept his drive, he’d have won. If Bush had had a life similar to Hitler’s pre-politics one, no one would have known his name unless they bumped into him.

Nitpick: The lampshades thing was a hoax. No proof was ever presented.
And yes, I can certainly picture Hitler writing a blog before and after the Bierputch, and getting a big audience too.

Not a hoax. The evidence dissapeared during the trial of Ilsa Koch. So we’ll never really know. They’ve done far worse anyway.

Not too surprising, I was already aware of the whole Hitler being a failed artist emo bitch thing. Given that Disney was an antisemite he would have probably been flattered.
