MSM fail

It’s incredible how little info there is about Iran on the cable news networks. I understand the Iranian government has kicked out all foreign media, but they should be able to use inside contacts. That’s what the blogs are doing. Andrew Sullivan’s blog is a good place to find information about current Iranian events.
I wasn’t very optimistic about the protesters’ chances against the government. Especially after yesterday’s massive support rally for Adhmedinejadingdong. And if it wasn’t enough that the riot police is blindly following orders, you’ve got militant thugs beating up women in the streets. But today’s demonstration in support of Mousavi was even bigger it seems, with crowds that reached till the horizon.

The Guardian reports at least 12 students shot to death and buried without a funeral or alerting the families.
I don't think that's halal…

I heard that Ahmedinejad has actually brought in people from Palestine to beat up protesters

I wouldn't be surprised if armed riots started.
He's supposedly agreeing/has already agreed to a partial recount but that's most likely a delaying tactic so he can eliminate dissenters in his political entourage and replace them with people he trusts.
The man is trying to set himself up as the next Saddam but he's not nearly as subtle or skilled in the ways of government intrigue.
If he declares himself dictator or anything similar to that then there's going to be a lot more shooting.

Ahmedinejad isn't a dictator, he's just the puppet of the Ayatollahs. Especially Ali Khamenei. They stole the election because they wanted too keep their poodle Ahmedinejad in place.
This whole clusterfuck is about the Council of Guardians securing the status quo. And the best way to do this is to have enemies like Isreal and the United States. If a conciliatory president is elected, even with limited powers, this becomes more difficult.
Just look at how Israel and the Mossad are acting like nothing is happening in Iran. They too need Iran as an enemy, as did the neo-cons in America. Listening to Republicans lately, if Obama and the Dems had lost the elections, we might have World War III right now. Thank the lords there's an adult in the White House.

I base my observations on admittedly limited information and a rather obscene lack of political savvy.
So if I'm wrong, no big deal.

The exiled online had a good article on the subject, I'd link it but their site is down at the moment. It's one of the "War nerd" features

Is that a humor website or is the guy trying too much to be cynical?
