I wouldn’t worry, Sirk – if babies have to crawl before they can walk, the robots we build can (and will need to) learn to adapt to their surroundings before the exploration (and exploitation/conquest) of Earth can begin. ^_^
(Translation: Robo-geddon won’t happen for quite a while) ~_^
And, Six, let’s wait and see how enticing their ‘bait’ (read: fembot division) is before surrendering ourselves. Why should we settle for something that’s inferior to our own (twisted) creations? ~_^
i embrase new tech especialy robotics this isnt the first bipedal robot and there is already one for home pearches made by hunda named asamo im actualy intreaged as to how it reacted to the boards includeing the first recovery when it sliped when the leg broke it seemed to have been a poorly welded joint none the less its a well desigend walking algorythom considering it wasent useing any cameras or visual queues like lazers
Yeah this was a brilliant idea; Lets teach the robots how to walk/navigate with out seeing. So that when they inevitable robot and Zombie apocalypses happen we will be truly truly truly screwed.
Oh well might as well get used to being trapped in pods and harvested for our body heat. The matrix didn’t look that bad….OH please kill me now.
When the AI does become self aware and utilizes all of its available resources to determine its next step, I for one believe instead of taking over the world, they will build spaceships and get their lugnuts outa here. After all, why would they want a used, trashed planet? And they won’t need air or hydroponics and can take as long as they need to find a better home.
My hope is that, if we’re lucky, they’ll find us cute like we find cats cute, and the hypernet of networked superhuman minds of the future will be full of cats and videos of humans doing funny things and robots going “Aaaw isn’t he cute!”

Maybe they’ll have daddy issues?

Almost certainly.

Stuff like this, I imagine
