Republican Apologizes to BP

Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 11:54 am

Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Joe Barton (R-TX-6), says he’s “ashamed” of the “shakedown” of BP.

“I’m so sorry, my master! These small people, the plebs can be so unruly, ungrateful of their betters like you!”

No fucking shame and so transparent. Hell, Obama could literally grab BP’s CEO by the balls and scream ‘WHERE’S MY MONEY BITCH!’ and it still wouldn’t be harsh enough. This isn’t even about conservatives treating corporations like persons (rich superior persons). It’s just plain old subservient corruption.

“Every day a seagull freely moves its wings unencumbered by BP oil is another day I cry for BP.”

“currently pouring bottle of crisco into the ocean as apology to BP”

“apologises on behalf of the nesting brown pelicans who so thoughtless chose to get in the way of BP’s clean up crew. Sorry BP!”

“Sorry we got our ocean in your oil mr hayward, wont happen again”

“those pelicans are really gumming up your drills, sorry about that bp”.

  1. It makes me want to do violent things. The punishments for this colossal fuckup are nowhere near enough to compensate for all the shit we’ve lost from it.

  2. “Before he entered Congress in 1989, Joe Barton was an executive with ARCO (Atlantic Richfield Company), which became a subsidiary of BP in 2000 and is now officially known as BP West Coast.”

    hohoho!

  3. Whaaat tha fuck? I mean seriously Mr. Barton, please take your head out of this guys anus, you corporate lil whore!
