Texas Republicans to ban porn and oral sex

That’s their platform anyway.
Texas Sodomy Statutes – We oppose the legalization of sodomy. We demand that Congress exercise its authority
granted by the U.S. Constitution to withhold jurisdiction from the federal courts from cases involving sodomy.
Pornography – We urge our governmental bodies to enforce laws regarding all forms of pornography. We urge more
stringent legislation to prohibit all pornography including virtual pornography and operation of sexually–oriented
businesses. We oppose the sale of “Not Rated” (NR) movies and video games to minors.
Legally sodomy is any sex act subjectively considered unnatural. This includes oral and anal sex. The Texas Republican Party also wants to make same-sex marriage a felony. Their platform does not make any distinction between homo and hetero sodomy. I’m a bit disappointed they did not propose any legislation on making masturbation a crime against the unborn.

Texas, a fine place to raise a white, anglo-saxon, protestant family.

It’s not legal, but it’s tolerated as long as local citizens don’t file complaints. They cleaned up downtown and now all the street whores are on St-Cath between Valois and Viau. When I lived there a year ago I’d get propositions from toothless prostitutes just by walking out my door. x_X

There seem to be a few mistakes in that text.
Prostitution is not legal. There’s a level of tolerance, depending of the city and province. The things is, it’s illegal to sollicit i.e. meaning you can sell your body if you want it,but you can’t offer your services, advertise it.

Whoever wrote that was badly informed.

i guess this is why the prostatution laws are weird:
When it comes to street prostitution the law is not only ambiguous, but it is also overtly unfair. In Canada it is legal for a woman to sell her body, but it is not legal for her to attempt to find any customers. Also prostitution is the only criminal offence involving two consenting adults, where in most cases, only the female is arrested (“Anywhere But Here”, 1992).

I’ll try to release episode 24 in August. Other than that, the only thing I’ll be working on this summer is Sister Wulfia Focka. After that, I want to start a Miss Dynamite webcomic in the Fall. Not strips, one or two pages a week of an ongoing story. As for further animations, I have no idea.
