Ok let me get this straight Mario is the hero of Nintendo, but he only gets one chick and she is mentally retarded.
Wario is a fat mean bastard, and he get 5 decently hot chicks who don’t appear to be lacking in the brain department. Ok the one in the middle looks emotionally gone but hey I’d still hit that, then I’d have sex with her.
Seriously it seems like Mario got the shaft. Heck even Luigi got two different girls.

Here’s my take on the whole Mario-Wario thing – it depends on the writer(s) for each game.
Mario is the type of person who, when he isn’t saving his own skin, is ‘compelled’ to save anyone in trouble. (Why do you think we have Princess Daisy of Sarasaland in the current crop of titles?)
In other words, Mario is a busy character with no real time for a relationship. I’ll leave it to the rest of you to figure out how a princess that can hold her own in some games gets kidnapped on a(n ir)regular basis. ^_^U
As for Wario, I will admit that he started out as an evil (albeit exaggerated) version of Mario but, when you develop your own fan club of sorts, where do you think your creators (Nintendo) are going to go with you (along with the characters you meet)?
They’re going to ‘follow the money’, as it were.
The women that Wario deals with, if they’re not part-time employees of his business (WarioWare Inc.), are friends who consider him an eccentric. (He’s a scam artist but he did turn their often quirky ideas into ‘microgames’ AND give them credit so they gained some semblance of fame. Take THAT Atari) ^_^
Of course, all of this goes out the window when you’re dealing with fan-made materials – unless you’re willing to count the ‘stories’ these characters are involved in as (seperate) canon, just consider these images and fics extra ‘fap material’ for your collection. ^_^
(I’m sure there’s a reason that Wario doesn’t like Syrup on his pancakes) ~_^
Anyway, thank you for posting those images, Sirk. It’s always refreshing to see new sides to a (female) character.
