24 Hours Comic Day Comic

Hommage to Easy Rider.

Becomes an hommage to Vanishing Point.

And then Smokey and the Bandit.

This is after waking up after two hours of sleep and not really knowing what the hell I’m doing. I think this comic’s not so bad so far, but after that much intensive work and so little sleep, I’ve reached my limit.

That’s pretty much the moment where I’m sick of this AND IT SHOWS!

Perhaps there’s people who are better at it. But to me a 24 hours comic can only go downhill. At least it’s over and done. (I don’t think I’m doing it again next year.)
But I will do some more live drawings.

Wow, you got more work done in twenty four hours than it seems like in the past months!

Yes and no.
I do 10 pages each month on Slipshine. Inked and shaded.
This, well, if I do a webcomic eventually, with two pages a week, it’ll look nicer than this.

Actually, no.

well I stand corrected then.

lol i can see the quality slowly degrading (not by much) up until you went to sleep and a few pages after you woke up im not criticizing just think its kind of funny also nice job over all

Still really good, considering alot of stuff on 24hr comic day is scribbles.

I tuned in around the beginning of page 7 and was like “hmmm… that sure is alot of detail for a 24 hour comic… and kinda slow too!”
I tuned in again around page 16-17 and was like “NOW THAT’S MORE LIKE IT.” XD

Love the page with Eva showing the 9 missed shots.

That was really great. You can tell a really engaging story right off the cuff. I wish you`d pick this up and finish the story off when you`re less tired. It was going somewhere!

I’m inclined to agree with Tainted Ink on this one. Even with the quality degrading with sleep deprivation, it was still pretty captivating shit. Needs an anti-anti climax!

You think the 9 misses is funny? I used to work w/ the DEA, they had a bust go wrong with a guy in a Cadillac. 22 holes in the Caddy, not one hit the bad guy.
(* and there’s something weird in the universe that this is an answer to a guy named Caddie)
on October 9th, 2010 at 9:50 PM
But unlike Eva, Caddie was probably happy he didn’t get hit. XD

Good thing she’s not the type of person to retire after something like that. She’s 300 times more badass than Samuel L. Jackson
