The Handmaid’s Tale

I just finished reading The Handmaid’s Tale, by Margaret Atwood. It’s a first person account of a dystopian future where Christian fundamentalist revolutionaries have taken control of the United States. Fertile women, the Handmaids, are forced to become surrogate uterus’ for the infertile elites. And artificial insemination is illegal… so yeah.
I highly recommend it.
