here in the united states we like to act like were badasses but as soon as someone mentions anything of middle east origin in any medium of transportation we have to spam background checks for safety… ignorant pussies
I was getting on a plane in the US and the two people in front of me was a woman of at least 90 with a walker and a younger woman in her late 20s wearing what could only be a cocktail dress and strappy sandal heels.
They pulled out and “screened” the old lady who could hardly stand, and the hottie. The Hottie had to take off her shoes so they could search them for bombs. The Sandals I swear were nothing but a strip of leather and some leather thongs, the thickest pieces were no bigger that pencils. Not even McGuyver could have made a bomb out of those.
They didn’t bother to search me or the two huge black guys being me and I had a gun in my bag. I had papers allowing me to carry it on the plane but they never asked to see them or ever even noticed it in my bag.

That’s a rough bus ride. I switched to taking the train… it’s just as long, but at least you can have a beer or 2…or 12. Have fun while you’re here.
