Not racist!

Man, a lot of these guys seem off their meds. And I don’t just say that as an insult. They don’t look well. And a lot of them are obviously living on welfare.

Choice quotes.
*We’re spending too much money on education!
*Once you’re Muslim I don’t think you can change.
*Where do you get your news from? -My neighbor.
*Do you support interracial marriage? (to an old hippie) -Not really. (says he voted for Nikki Haley, who is half Indian)
*Everything else is superflurious.

And can anyone explain to me what the first woman says? She lives on cans and social security and people are applauding her for it? o_O

  1. Oh… Oh god… it hurts…. It really, really hurts…. And did that chick actually say a woman’s role is of a servant? Oh god…. God, if you’re out there, these people are you representatives. You wonder why I think you’re not real?

  2. I’m so used to being ashamed of my countrymen anymore that none of this comes as a shock. It’s very hard for me to rationalize the questionable mental state of people such as these when all I have is my own limited frame of reference, but all I can say is that people such as these thrive in poorer, religious based environments just like the one I live in.

Thinking on this just today, it occurred to me that much like people vary in physical strength, so too must there be major variances in the potential for rational thought and skepticism between people. Blatantly misinformed individuals do invariably raise my anger to hear them spout the same disinformation they have been feed in such a vehement manor, but after I study their mind sets, I also feel sorry that they might have a legit handicap in terms of potential rationality.

I feel like I won the ovarian lottery in being born with a strong mind, but then seeing as how I only have my own perspective to reference, I usually react to this kind of bile as if I came upon a person who was simply being lazy; If I put the effort to sort out the facts then why hasn’t this person? In a round-about way I see myself being like them in their kind of conservative “holier then thou”, “the bums lost, the bums will always lose!” mentality.

I guess what I’m really trying to sort out, is if its okay to judge a person based on non violent political views if indeed they have a genetic/societal influence that gives them a propensity towards the more sensationalistic/conservative mind set. An idiot simply can’t help but be an idiot. =/

  3. Yeah, it’s a tough question to answer.

There are many mental sicknesses that can cause delusions and paranoia, not just schizophrenia. Some studies say that people who are paranoid tend to vote for authoritarians. That would explain why teabaggers claim they fear the government while voting for authoritarian Republicans. They need a fascist that will protect them against all the imaginary evil in the world.

But then calling your opponent a mental nutcase, even if it’s accurate, never really works well as an argument. First, they think the same of you. Second, they might not be crazy and just assholes. And third, if they really are nuts, they’ll be too paranoid to believe you. Civil Rights activists in dictatorships are usually painted as crazy, so it’s easy to make a false equivalence.

    So… ya. I dunno.

  4. They indeed seems more lost n misguided then simply heinous and angered .

I fear more the people with the same warped opinion that wont manifest themselves now, but will start pogrom like group when they feel they can. For they don’t think democracy is a solution from their perspective. That is scary .

There is racism, sexism, xenophobia and nihilism in their speech, sparkled over with crazy fundamentalism .
With all those ingredients you have the basic parts to fascist state .

More then these rabid sheep’s, its the fucked up herder we should worry about .

  5. I became Superflurious after being exposed to secret space rays from planet X at area 51. But with help from the medical community, it got better.

  6. What bothers me the most is the fact that it’s always a close call when there’s an election.

  7. I think that’s because of the low voting turn-out.

  8. We all know the only time young people came out, which are a big number, was for Obama. Good luck getting that this time, with how he’s done.

  9. LOL, Americans. (then again, England is actually more laughable, Government-wise.)
