I’m gonna be deputy returning officer during the Canadian Federal election this Monday.
If you are 18 and over on Monday, you should vote. And I would suggest you vote NDP. They are polling pretty strongly in Quebec and hopefully the rest of Canada will follow suit. The Conservatives should at minimum be denied a majority government.

Tories are making enough of a mess over here at the moment. If you manage to keep them out of government over there I may just take you up on the offer of sharing the couch with Eva and Blackie. :D

Conservatives won. Again. Seriously, do people think they’re doing a good job? Canada has a law stating you cannot lie and call it news. Harper tried to get it repealed. It’s official, people are dumb.
