Anyone knows a way to do 3D text as in the example below? (without using a complicated 3D prog)

Can the 3D tools in Photoshop do that?
Got it!

CorelDraw (which is comparable to Illustrator) has an effects feature called “extrude” which can do this kind of thing quite easily. Adobe probably has a similar feature somewhere in its graphics suite.

illustrator CS4
. type – create outline
. effect – 3d – extrude and bevel
. rotation x axis 20 à 30 degré
. perspective entre 120 et 150
. extrude depth entre 50 et 100
. plastic shading
