Day of Debauchery & Gluttony
Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 3:57 pm
August 6 is Rick Perry’s Day of Fast and Prayer. Why? Because Republicans have run out of ideas and are reverting to paleolithic shamanism. Next? Ron Paul’s gold standard and the Philosopher’s Stone…
So some people are (loosely) organizing a day of debauchery and gluttony. I like that idea because:
1) Eating a lot is American. Fasting is for Communists who wait in line for beets.
2) Buying more food is good for the economy.
3) The economy is more important than Jesus.
And even better, since I have a party schedule that day, I won’t even have to do any effort. So I’ll help by being lazy. Fuck yeah!
