Busy month.
- New anime (should have been released a year ago, but shit happened)
- French color hardcover out for the Comic-Con. (a bit later in France)
- Sept. 11, the Comic-Con.
This is suspected Terrorist Khuram Sher, arrested with others by the RCMP yesterday in Ottawa. This is Khuram’s second 15 minutes of fame. He was first seen of all places as a contestant on Canadian Idol, singing an April Lavigne song. Is it his crushed Canadian dream that turned him to terrorism? And proof yet again that AlQaeda squandered their best elements on 9/11 and all they’re left with are the village idiots.
The University of Nottingham produced a series of informative and entertaining videos about the elements of the periodic table. Did you know that Beryllium is invisible to X-ray? Now you know.
Long story short.
-Penny Arcade makes a WoW joke with a reference about werewolf penis rape.
-Someone at Shakesville gets her panties in a knot about the rape even though that wasn’t even the joke.
-Penny Arcade replies with a rape joke.
-Amanda at Pendagon thinks the original joke was funny but that Penny Arcade should not have answered the stupid accusation.
Jesus Christ…
I’m not even a fan of the whole gaming webcomics, but when someone throws a ridiculous accusation at you, you can’t complain if the wrongly accused takes a dump on your carpet.
I also find it so ridiculous when a pseudo-serious person or pundit says something extraordinarily retarded to someone with no pretense of being serious, like a comedian, and is answered with something not serious. For example, “that Shakesville bitch should get raped for being so stupid”. Is that offensive? Of course it is. And it’s wrong. But that’s the point. If you start a stupid fight, you’re gonna get hit with stupid. So in all seriousness, Shakesville, STFU.
